I did the same thing wiht our daughter when she was in kindergarten. They had the kids hang up their coats all lined up tightly together along the wall on hooks and every so many months our daughter got head lice. Drove me crazy! you would think that educators would know not to put coats so close together like that. They warn the kids not to share hats or combs so why is it ok to hang up coats so close together? Never made sense to me. Anyway, I also put our daughters hair up in a bun every day and that helped. Lice crawl along desks, on floors from a childs sleeves to another child close by etc. Lice hate hair spray, oils on hairs and treated hair. Keeping that in mind, precoat your daughters hair with a bit of conditioner while its dry, put the hair up in a bun and then spray down with hair spray. Once I started doing all of that she didn't get lice anymore. Now trying to get the school to keep the kids coats seperate is another story. Oh, and I had to do away with all sleep overs. When i was little my parents never let us sleep over anyones house. Mom was scared to death of perverts and fires. Our children are always sleeping over someones house and now and then they would get head lice. ONce we discovered which family was the culprit we no longer allowed our children over their house. Now our children only have one or 2 friends their allowed to go on over nighters. Oh and bringing your own pillow doesn't work if their sleeping in the same room or on a sofa because typically those critters are everywhere.

I read somewhere about rosemary for lice - Do you think I would just
mix a portion of the eo with olive oil and massage? I've already done
the chemical thing, - just want to follow up and too soon for more
chemicals...
I really want to contain this quickly out of 5 of us in the house,
there is just one infestation and one other still questionable - only
found one and it was soon after they had been cuddling. I can shave
the questionable little one down if I have too - he will get over it in
a few weeks!!!
Thinking the olive oil would be good for the damage the pesticides may
have done to her hair and scalp. Her scalp was soooo red.
Thanks!
