Hello Alice!
Its really good to see you here again..its indeed been a long time sweetie..
Congratulations on the new arrival, gosh how many does this make it now? lol
I dont know what 'feminine wash' is..so can't help there..but..I honestly would not really use anything on the incision area but water from the shower..no shower gel etc
I had a c section with my 5th child since she was 100% placenta praevia (spelling) and they said to just let water run on it in the shower and pat dry or I could make up some salted water and drizzle it on the incision in the bath and pat dry..I then would dab on emu oil/shea butter mix and just leave it..healed really quickly.
I did a course end of last year with New Directions and one of the things I asked for a demo of was a healing oil..I wanted an oil in particular as it absorbs quickly and with no pulling on the stitches or wounded skin areas to hurt them..just dab/pat it onto the sore part and let it absorb..let me look up my notes and get back to you..though I find plain emu..and you can warm/melt it for easier application in the microwave for a few seconds before applying or in your hand even..to make it easier to pat onto the incision..but plain emu oil works wonders just on its own without anything added..it will heal it from deep within the incision and absorb so it can still dry out and not stay wet..
Anyway..let me look into my notes and I will get back to you..

HI! Hope you don't mind the cross post and forgive my silence for all of this time. Long story, hard to explain.
Recently I saw a post concerning healing balms for incision care, and this peaked my interest as I have been wondering about the same thing.
February 18th I am having my 3rd c-section to deliver this baby. Normally, I have purchased a "feminine wash" and used it to wash the incision,
and have used nothing else on it. BUT, with having been laid off from work and finances in the horrid state they are, I would LOVE to be able to do
something myself.
I currently am restricted so am unable to make bar soaps and the like. I DO have a body wash base on hand, and am wondering if there is anything
I can add to it (healing EO's or the like) to make my own personal care wash to use on the incision??? And, if there is a balm or even a "massage type" oil
I can make to rub into the incision. I DO have emu oil, and would love to use that on the incision, just wondering what I can add to it that would help in the
healing process, the pain control, and infection control.
I have a recipe for a boo boo balm that has, to be honest, never been truly effective in anything. And, it is stiff!! I want something creamy, lol.
Thanks for everyone's help! If you could give me a few clues, it would be greatly appreciated.
