[Cosmetic_Soap_Toiletry_Candle_Scent] need help w LipStain!

Hello,

I have made some lipbalms using beetroot powder as the red stain. I
have put already 1 tsp in a about 1.5oz of balm. That seems like alot
but the stain still doesn't take on the lips. The balm itself is a
nice deep red color though. Also, the powder doesn't all dissolve,
there is sediment at the bottom of the mixture. I kept that stuff at
the bottom and tried it, but it's very grainy and no stain again.

Help.
