Once I tried a peppercorn chicken dish and it said add X-amount of peppercorns. Well, I read 1,444. It was 14. I either see more numbers than there are or see them upside down or jumbled. LOL! Needless to say, I don't cook. And it was spicy!
People with dyslexia are really creative and see and understand the world differently. I have a friend who only sees, and therefore reads, every other word. So to get around this she has to cover one eye [has glasses with one dark pane] and pass a sheet of paper over the screen or book to catch every word. And she's super fast! In college she got straight A's.
