I had a very dramatic failure with a batch of soap today. Right off when
I mixed the lye and oil it seemed grainy but I proceeded. At trace,
the graininess increased. I poured it in the molds and then it
started to fizz, foam, expand and separate....started to fizz, foam, expa
the molds. A Lucille Ball kind of situation.
I added tangerine essential oil. In theory, I was using one of Dr.
Bob's formula's...Bob's formula's...<WBR>.
Any ideas on what went wrong and can this batch be saved?
Thanks!
Evelyn
