The balm I have now is pretty creamy but hard enough to keep the stick
form. I think she might be looking for the gloss of a more fluid type
product but in stick form. I would try lanolin but I'm not to fond of
the smell, though it seems most of the bigger companies use it in their
lip products. Vaseline was suggested but she doesn't want "petroleum
products".
Cindy-
I use a significant amount of castor oil already and it does have a good
moisturizing effect. I'm not sure I could get away with more liquid oils
and still keep the stick properties of the balm.
I'm playing with polysobutene, jojoba gel and a vegetable based vaseline
substitute. If anyone has any other suggestions I'm all ears!
