to where it is somewhat managable, and does not interfer with my life
as it once did. I find that a protein rich diet/low carbs works best
for me. I also take high levels of vitamin Bs and C, as well as a
multi vitamin. extra calcium and magnesium and D. Lastly I take two
prescriptions, 1) imipramine, which helps me to get to sleep and have
a deep sleep-something fibro interfers with, and 2) I also take a non-
steroidal anti-inflamatory, called meloxicam. This combination has
me feeling the best I have in years. This also has helped me with my
general arthritis, and I am currently awaiting a knee-replacement,
and had my hip done 3 years ago, and I am only 49. I only mention
these other things to convey the levels of pain I have been dealing
with, and how great I feel now. I hope that you find something that
works for you, as this has for me.
